I made a promise

Lent is upon us, and I've made a promise. I have sworn to blog every day during Lent, and to be nothing but positive. That will be difficult what with a blog entitled "What's Ailing the Ry-ry?", but I'm going to make it happen.

I have a couple of things to be positive about for today. I would be wise to hold off on a couple of these, but I've never been to good at not blowing my wad too early.

Last night, Wifey and I went to a concert and despite all my preconceived notions, I had a good time. It was one of hose situations where the spouse has high expectations, and when you've gone home for the night, you enjoyed the evening more than they did. Sorry for you, Wifey, but positive for us as a whole.

Tonight, Co-worker & I (again - we're not gay) saw Valentine's Day together (for free.... wait that doesn't prove we're not gay, does it?), and it was as good a free romantic comedy as you'll see, without being British (read: Love Actually).

So there you go, two big ones on day one. Let's see the magic keep happening. I have some left over pains from before Lent, but nothing a little TLC can't take care of.
