ack! my back!

I woke up Monday morning with an aching upper back and left shoulder and knew it would be a bad day. It was a pain all day, but the day was pretty good. The Nationals went on a hot streak and won 6 of 9, and I can't really remember any great struggles I've had to endure since then. Except the back and shoulder pain. It will not part company with me, and today I've gone to extreme measures - I started by applying some Icy Hot on the affected area this morning, and with that not working, I went and purchased some heating pads which I am now walking around the office with under my shirt, trying to pretend there's nothing goofy going on in there (you'll have to ask this guy how it's going). It's working pretty well right now - but it's only been about 30 mins. However, ol' Wifey will tell you that I should have been stretching the whole time and that would work out the kinks, and that is why I should stop telling her all together what's ailing me and stick to this blog.

So what am I saying here, duh!, I'm saying my shoulder and back still hurt for a
bout the fourth day in a row, and I'm worried I won't perfom to my usual poor standards in the Ultimate Frisbee game tonight. That's what I'm syaing. But do not worry, my favorite reader/ego booster, it's my left shoulder, and thus I'll be able to tip the sweet nectar of Yazoo into my deserving face.
That's a right hand thing...

the left arm is used for something else all it's own. You know what it is...?

I think you need a spa day to really relax your shoulder...but no happy endings.
