it's not on my person, but it's on the nose

I'm not looking that well through the left eye. It's, surprisingly, not because the eye itself is not working properly, but because I'm the kind of moron that will run with eyeglasses folded up and jammed into the button area so that while I'm running around the stadium at my awesome usher job (wearing the prescription sunglasses) the glasses pop out and I have no idea. So really I was lucky to even get them back. But in my luck, I was not happy to see that a new addition had been made to the glasses... a wonderful set of scratches on the ol' left eye lens. So now I've been going to different eye wear places around town getting the bad news that it's not really possible to "buff out" the scratches because, duh! that's how the lens work. We make them concave at the appropriate angle so that when viewed through, it matches the imperfections in the eyeball! Please note the picture has the scratches in a highlighted section, showing off just how many and varied the scratches are. Niice.

Awww, this will surely be my demise. Aaarrrrgggggh!!!
